Everything you need to know about 2018 NBNI!
The 2018 New Balance Nationals Indoor (NBNI), the 20th edition of the NSAF's indoor national championships for the top prep track and field athletes, is all set for next weekend -- Friday-Sunday, March 9-11 -- at the Fort Washington Armory in New York City (Washington Heights). This is our 8th indoor nationals with New Balance and the 36th such meet NSAF founders Jim Spier and the late Mike Byrnes have been involved with since 1983. Huge thanks to all of the staff, officials and volunteers who join us in this labor of love every year.

National HS T&F Hall of Fame Induction
We are thrilled that our 2018 NBNI weekend also marks the induction of our first 
class of 30 to the National High School Track and Field Hall of Fame. Tickets are available HERE for the event, Thursday, March 8, starting at 6pm. For those of you in attendance at NBNI, please check out our new Meet Record Banners hanging on the railings at the Armory (first curve side of track). There are 46 banners celebrating each and every championship record standing going into this weekend's meet!

NBNI: The competition
More than 3,500 athletes from more than 40 states and Canadian provinces competed with us in 2017 and we are again expecting similar numbers -- running, hurdling, jumping, throwing and walking their way to titles in 47 boys’ and girls’ Championship events, as well as 42 more Emerging Elite, Freshman and Junior High events.
Last year here, we saw 11 national record performances, 13 class records, 26 meet records and 13 Armory records! What will 2018 bring?
We will be posting "Who's Coming" previews for throws, sprints/hurdles, jumps, distances and relays in the days ahead.
