Building Bridges Through Athletics

Jim Spier and Joy Kamani are in Cuba this week negotiating with Jorge Luis Aguilera and the legendary Alberto Juantorena of the Cuban Athletics Federation to take our Caribbean Scholastic Invitational team there this summer.  The date agreed on is June 12-13 in Havana.  We’ve received permission from the Treasury and State Departments and we’re super excited about this athletic and cultural experience.  Our team of 28 athletes will be selected by early April based primarily on New Balance Nationals and early outdoor performances. Preliminary details are here and photos from Joy and Jim are updated daily on Facebook. More details to come.

Indoor Top Five Movement

Jim Spier has been busy updating his Top 5 lists and keeping them accurate.  Check them out and see who’s moved up  this week after the indoor season got into full swing last weekend.  Lists are generally updated each Monday.
