Preliminary start lists will no longer be posted. They will only be available on line.
Those who wish to store their luggage, may do so in the area provided in the Armory. The luggage area will be in the Millrose Room near the main entrance, the same room used for packet pickup. While there will be security in the luggage storage area, neither the Armory nor the NSAF is responsible for lost/stolen articles. ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT (CDs, Radios, cameras, etc) IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE COMPETITION AREA. The Armory also does not take responsibility for lost or misplaced items.
New Balance Indoor Nationals medals will be awarded to the top 6 in each event, and each champion in the high schools championship division will receive a championship ring. (This does not include Freshman or Emerging Elite events).
Each participant will be guaranteed a meet souvenir, given the following: 1) entering AND paying entry fees by the Souvenir Guarantee Date, AND 2) participating in the competition, not merely entering.
The first six finishers in each event attending who reside in the U.S. or its possessions will be named to this year's New Balance Indoor Nationals All America Team and receive All America certificates. This applies to the high school champion division only and not to to the Freshman or Emerging Elite division.

Street parking adjacent to the Armory is available and requires feeding a meter. Two good options are Riverside Drive just south of 165th Street or the parking lot at 165th Street and Fort Washington Avenue.
There is a $20 fee to replace a lost bib.
Why are relay alternates no longer allowed to entered online?
Experience over the years has shown that there has been minimal substitution in the relays. In an event with many hundreds of relays per meet, relay substitutions have been 5 or less (total). Coaches still may substitute runners just prior to a relay being run, and will be able to use a registered team member on that relay.
Is there online registration for the meet?
Yes. It is the only means by which to enter. See link on this web site.
How do I know if I am accepted into the meet?
If you have met the qualifying standard, you have been accepted into the meet.
Will the receipt of my entry be confirmed?
We do not confirm entries (in the more than 25 years of doing the meet, we have not lost or misplaced any entry).
Can 8th-graders enter the Freshman 60m, 400m or Mile
No. They are limited to 9th-graders only.
Are 7th and 8th-graders generally allowed to compete in any other events?
Yes, full-time students in grades 7 - 8 -- who are eligible and competed for a high school team in winter or spring 2016 -- may compete in other events.
How will I know which section I will be in?
The meet will be seeded on the Wednesday before the meet, so nothing will be known for certain until then.
Do I need to update seed times?
It is really not necessary. Our staff reviews all district, regional, state and invitational meets so we are generally "up to date". However, feel free to e-mail any updates to email@example.com.
