2021 Great American Cross Country Festival
COVID-19 Precaution Information
In accordance with CDC, the State of North Carolina and the Town of Cary, the following are recommendations to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
All coaches are responsible for ensuring none of their athletes attend the event if they are feeling sick or reporting any symptoms including but not limited to fever, ongoing coughing and so forth.
Coaches are required to sign an acknowledgment form that they will monitor the condition of their athletes and that they do not have any known COVID-positive individuals in their travel party prior to receiving the team packet(s).
No athletes, coaches or spectators should attend the event if they are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19.
While masks are not currently required in outdoor settings per the Town of Cary, State of North Carolina or the CDC, local officials strongly encourage masks be worn in situations where social distancing cannot be maintained.
The meet staff is requesting that all individuals wear masks, regardless of vaccination status, if social distancing cannot be maintained or unless actively running (warm-up, racing, etc.).
Social distancing is recommended and encouraged.
Each school will be responsible for providing hand sanitizer for their athletes and staff.
The NSAF will have medical staff on site both Friday (packet pickup, course run-throughs) and Saturday.
