Here are the fields for the most elite boys and girls sections of the Reno Pole Vault Summit (posted late Friday):

BOYS

This killer field includes five of the six boys returning this year who cleared 16-6 or better outdoors in 2013: Devin King 17-3, Barrett Poth 16-10.5 and 16-6 vaulters Luke Winder, Pablo Benavides and Harrison Williams.  Winder also cleared 16-10 indoors last year and Williams was one of the nation’s top decathletes.  Also in the field is new 16-9 performer (indoors 2014) Todd Uckermark.  King and Benavides were both World Youth finalists last summer.  Also, King was 2nd at Reno last winter and Poth 4th.

GIRLS

The girls field is led by Bonnie Draxer, the US#3 returnee from 2013 (13-7.25), who was 2nd at USATF Juniors and 6th at Pan Am Juniors.  She’s gone 13-0.25 already this winter.  Two other 13-footers from 2013 are in the field: Greta Wagner (13-2) and Nicole Summersett (13-0).  Meagan Gray, who edged Summersett at Texas A&M last week as both went 12-8.25, is also in the field, as is USATF JO Youth record-setter Makayla Linebarger, who went 12-3.75 as an 8th-grader last summer.  Gray is also the best of five returnees from last year’s Summit top 10, having taken 2nd with 12-8.
