Mike Byrnes' Musings

Mike Byrnes, co-founder of the National Scholastic Sports Foundation, wears many hats. He was (and is) an accomplished coach. His athletes have become Olympians and he has developed national class high school athletes including those who have set at least two national records. He is, as well, a master recruiter and spotter of talent, having served as the original chief recruiter for the Nike Indoor and National Outdoor Nationals. Finally, he is an accomplished writer.
His recollections and interviews appear on this page with at least one new piece per month. Enjoy!
