2018 IAAF U20 World Champs: Stats, Links and more

by Steve Underwood

The NSAF -- Jim Spier, Joy Kamani and Steve Underwood -- will once again be on site to cover the IAAF World U20 Championships (formerly World Junior Championships). We will be posting daily recaps with photos on nationalscholastic.org, photo galleries and video interviews on our NSAF Facebook page, and select photos and/or clips on our NSAF Twitter and NSAF Instagram feeds.

Our partners at Runnerspace.com and DyeStat.com will be represented by photojournalist John Nepolitan -- who has covered too many IAAF Junior, Youth and Senior championships to count!

  • TEAM USA Roster -- 79 athletes from 24 states, including many current and former NBN All-Americans and Team NSAF athletes.
  • TEAM USA Coaching Staff -- Coaches Kim Dismuke (head coach men) and Sandy Fowler (head coach women) will lead Team USA.

From the IAAF
  • Meet Home Page -- Where it all starts
  • Provisional Entries -- Viewable and downloadable PDFs, posted July 5.
  • Timetable and Results -- Standard daily schedule with start lists and immediate results upon event completion.
  • IAAF Previews -- The IAAF staff previews each event.
  • How to Follow page -- As much info as IAAF can cram on to one page, including live blog, TV and streaming info, social media, other site coverage, downloadable Facts and Figures handbook, records, world lists, historical results and more!
  • Tampere 2018 -- A partner site with the IAAF and Tampere Local Organizing Committee, filled with both IAAF and local info. This is a must, whether you are here for the meet or following from afar and wondering about our hosts!
