The NSAF Family and the athletics world mourn the passing of one of the greats!  Neville "Teddy" McCook passed on February 11th.

The Honourable Neville ‘Teddy’ McCook had been an IAAF Council Member since 1999, President of Jamaica Amateur Athletics Association from 1984-1996 and President of NACAC (North American, Central American and Caribbean AA) from 2007 to the time of his death. He was also the Secretary General of the Jamaica Olympic Association, a Board Member of Jamaica Special Olympics, and after stepping down as President of the Jamaica Amateur Athletics Association in 1996 had continued as an Executive Administrator of the national IAAF Member Federation.

He was also one of the founders of the Gibson Relays which are being held this Saturday (March 23rd) in Jamaica.

Teddy McCook's  funeral will be held Sunday, March 24th in Kingston, Jamaica.  The NSAF will be represented by our Board member, Cedric Walker.

We will miss our dear friend.
