Twenty 2015 Tony Wells Grant winners announced
The National Scholastic Athletics Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2015 Tony Wells Team/Club Development Grant. This year, 20 high school teams and track and field clubs from around the nation 
(see below) will receive grants of various amounts for the development of their programs. Stay tuned in the weeks ahead for stories, photos and videos on these teams and clubs, and how they will benefit from their grant.
The grant was named after the legendary Colorado Flyers Head Coach, Tony Wells, who coached and poured his heart and soul into the Colorado Flyers Track Club for more than 40 years.
His success was remarkable! His athletes have held national records in the 50y, 50m, 55m and 60m dashes, 50y and 55m hurdles and the shot put. An astonishing number have earned scholarships to college. Tony Wells died in July of 2012, but his legacy lives and breathes. To learn more about Coach Wells, please visit the following links:
