• US#1 3:44.09 Div.-II girls’ 4x400m relay prelim by St. Thomas Aquinas FL (Sparling, Spaulding, Jean-Baptiste, Ellis) in H5, followed by Long Beach Poly CA at US#2 3:45.58 in H8 and Converse Judson TX at US#3 3:46.24 in H2.  Five teams under 3:50, 12 under 3:55 and 24 under 4:00 in Div.-II overall.
• US#1 1:25.61 Div.-II boys’ 4x200m relay prelim by Brenham (Cross, Patterson, Wilson, Nunn) in H1, ahead of Texarkana Texas TX at US#2 1:25.73 in H4.  Eight more teams under 1:27 and 20 total under 1:28 in Div.-II overall.
• US#1 194-7 boys’ discus by Anthony Dudley (El Paso Parkland, TX senior), beating Erich Sullins (Arlington Lamar, TX senior) at US#7 183-11.  Lawrence Collier (Munday, TX senior) and Rocky Fenton (San Clemente, CA senior) both threw 177-0, with Collier getting 3rd with a better backup.
• US#1 10:05.13 boys’ distance medley relay by Keller TX (McConnell, Belcher, Gutierrez, Dalquist), winning by more than 10 seconds over Lewisville Flower Mound TX at US#2 10:16.75 and Lewisville Marcus TX at US#3 10:20.45.  Five teams at 10:25 or better, 11 under 10:40.
• US#1 3:29.63 boys’ sprint medley relay by Round Rock TX (Gibson, Nash, Reed, Kirking), nipping Manvel TX at US#2 3:29.64 by a mere .01.  Galena Point North Shore TX 3:29.92 and Long Beach Wilson CA 3:29.95 also under 3:30 in 3rd and 4th (US#3-4).  Four more teams in the 3:31s.
• US#1 3:58.99 girls’ sprint medley relay by DeSoto TX (Cater, White, Grigsby, Crawford), followed by The Woodlands TX 4:02.40 and St. Thomas Aquinas FL 4:04.53 as the first six teams moved into US#1-6.
• US#1 11:59.37 girls’ distance medley relay by Lewisville Marcus TX (Reed, Bradley, Blair, Brown), beating US#2-3-4 times by The Woodlands TX at 12:00.98, Katy TX at 12:05.73 and Lewisville Hebron TX at 12:05.86.
• US#1 13.92 Div.-II boys’ 110-meter hurdles prelim (+0.7w) by Bayron Manuel (LB Wilson, CA senior) in H5, followed US#2-3-4 times by Marcus McWilliams (Pflugerville, TX junior) at 13.96 (+0.8w) in H3, and Victor Fincher (McKinney North, TX senior) at 13.98 and Jalen Hunter (Denton Guyer, TX senior) at 13.99 (+1.6w) – both in H1.
