Girls Heptathlon Long Jump

Kendell Williams (Kell, Marietta, GA) got a decent jump on her final attempt, leaping 19-0.75, worth 792 points. She moved down to sixth because of stellar jumps by Sawyer of Great Britain and Malmberg of Sweden.

Girls Medley Relay Qualifying

Jamaica looks to be the team to beat, running #2 alltime (2:05.59, with a 52.5 400m anchor). The US qualified automatically, but with the 6th fastest time overall, running 2:09.39, with approximate splits as follows: Jennifer Madu 11.2, Myasia Jacobs 24.5, Kendall Baisden 38.9 and Robin Reynolds 54.7. This compares to Jamaica's splits: 11.3, 24.0, 37.8, 52.5.

Boys Medley Relay Qualifying

The US looked strong in qualifying, running #6 all-time. It was Cameron Burrell (10.2), Aldrich Bailey 21.5, Arman Hall 32.8 and Najee Glass 47.3.
