American JavFest clinic is cancelled, but competition still scheduled

by Steve Underwood

Registration is still ongoing for the 2020 American JavFest, the 6th Annual staging of the event by the NSAF set for July 31-August 1, but several changes have been made to the weekend schedule at East Stroudsburg HS in PA.

The Saturday clinic has been cancelled, due to the continuing precautions necessitated by COVID-19. The Youth softball throw has also been cancelled. Because of those cancellations, the competition schedule for Saturday has changed, with registration and packet pickup beginning at 10:30 a.m., followed by the Open Men (12 noon), Open Women (1 pm), Elite Women (2 pm) and Elite Men’s (3 pm) divisions, respectively.

Full details for the American JavFest are HERE. You can also check the schedule page HERE and register for the event HERE. The registration fee for JavFest has been reduced to $35.

If the NSAF is able to host its Outdoor Nationals on July 30-August 2, then the JavFest will be moved forward a week, or back a week. The announcement for whether the Nationals will be held will come on or before June 15.
